Though, they insisted they were not responsible. We reported this to the hotel and they checked the cameras and they saw him entering my floor the night before in the 3-4 am time span. We asked what he was doing and he said he went to the wrong room and ran away. We were all there and recognized him as a guy who lost a lot of money at the craps table. But GUESS WHAT? at the same time as that of the theft the night before, a drunk male intruded into the room. So i stayed another night, hoping to get my money back. I wanted to leave after reporting the theft, which took hours of time, but was told if I did, the investigation would die. Finally, they said they cannot disclose that information. First they said the hotel had no security cameras because the halls are 'too winding.' Then yes, they had cameras, but not near my room. Police and hotel security contradicted each other repeatedly.
